TECHNIQUE · MICROPIGMENTATION
Powder Brows is a permanent makeup technique that deposits pigment in tiny dots to create soft shading, like brows filled in with powder. Tibi designs each brow to suit your face, with over 8 years of experience and 2,500+ clients, for an elegant, natural result that lasts 1 to 3 years.

Powder Brows, also called powder or ombré brows, is a semi-permanent micropigmentation technique. A precision machine deposits tiny dots of pigment into the upper layer of the skin, which together create soft shading, much like a well-applied brow powder. The intensity is fully customizable, from a subtle gradient to a bolder, more defined finish.
Unlike microblading, which draws hair-like strokes with a manual tool, Powder Brows doesn't cut the skin. That's why it works so well on combination and oily skin and tends to last longer: 1 to 3 years. Before pigmenting, Tibi draws and measures the design on your face, and only starts once you approve it.
✓
The shading stays defined where hair strokes tend to blur.
✗
Better to wait: skin heals differently and it's not the time to pigment.
✓
Fills in gaps and balances the shape so both brows look even.

Wait until you finish it and check with your doctor before booking.

This is how the color changes as it heals. Knowing it saves you a scare: the phase where it looks lighter is a normal part of the process.

The pigment looks darker and more defined than it will be. Mild redness or swelling is possible.

See her backgroundDoes it look fake?
Not if the design is right. Powder Brows mimics filled-in brows with a soft gradient: lighter at the front and more defined toward the tail. Tibi chooses the shape and shade based on your face, skin and hair color, and you can ask for a softer or bolder finish. It looks darker the first few days but lightens noticeably as it heals.
Does it work if I have old microblading?
In many cases, yes. If your old microblading has faded or blurred, Powder Brows can cover it and unify the shape with fresh shading. If the old pigment is very dark, has turned reddish or grayish, or the shape doesn't flatter you, a color correction or removal may be needed first. We assess it at your consultation before deciding.
How long does it take to heal?
The skin heals on the surface in about 7 to 14 days, but the color takes 4 to 6 weeks to fully settle. It looks intense at first, then flakes and goes through a phase where it seems lighter; after that, the true shade returns. The touch-up is done once the skin has healed, around week six.
Can it be removed or corrected later?
Yes. Since the pigment is semi-permanent, it fades over time, and anything you'd like to adjust can be corrected at the touch-up or a maintenance session. To remove it sooner, there are methods like laser or saline removal, done by a specialist and sometimes requiring several sessions. That's why approving the design before pigmenting is so important.
Can I work out or go in the sun?
For the first 7 to 10 days, avoid heavy sweating, pools, saunas and direct sun on your brows, as they can affect healing and color. After that, you can return to your normal routine. Long term, use sunscreen on the area: the sun is what fades pigment fastest.
